Caws!

About the Urban Naturalists Summer Camp

This has to be the best summer school program I have participated in. The curriculum was awesome! The themes for each week, activities every day, guest speakers, and field trips were interesting, relevant, informative, and fun for both the staff and students. I truly believe in and liked the overall theme of environmental science for the summer camp. Once again, I cannot express the enjoyment I got out of this program.”

~Shelley Vertucci, Middle School Teacher
Seattle Public Schools

Your curriculum was very well laid out and developed.  I was truly impressed with it, and I have seen a lot of curriculum in my 13 years as a classroom science teacher.  Keep up the great work.

~Steve Howard, Science Teacher
Edmonds School District

About the Environmental Health Fact Files: Lead & Asthma

The LEAD Fact File, with lessons in the curricular areas of Science, Language Arts, and Social Studies, captivated and motivated my students to produce their best work. Chalk full of fascinating, relevant content, the Fact File is clearly top notch. Interested in a possible cause for the demise of the Roman Empire? Curious as to how a lock of Beethoven’s hair, candy, and folk remedies are related? Your kids will most certainly be as they learn important environmental health lessons using this stimulating, creative curriculum.

~Bill McMurray, Teacher
Kellogg Middle School Science Department

Overall, I believe this is an excellent source of information.

~Gayle Millar, Teacher
Harbour Pointe Middle School Math Department

There is a lot of good information in this Fact File. The lessons are engaging and relevant.”

~Terri Harpster, Teacher
Explorer Middle School Social Studies Department

About the Path to Place Nature Journaling Workshops

Thanks again for your enthusiastic, well-planned out and informative sessions that you conducted during our River of Words workshops.  Thanks also for your great hand-outs. I believe that we achieved our goal of having students use the natural environment of Wild Thyme Farm as an inspiration and catalyst for art and poetry. It was so nice to see how focused and engaged the students were.

~Kathy Jacobson, Coordinator
Chehalis Basin Education Consortium

Thank you so much for all the wonderful journaling activities! The kids had a great time.”

~Mrs. Alrich and Mrs. Klinger, Teachers and Participants
River of Words Program

About the Hydropower & Water Pollution Summer Science Camp

I received your curriculum binder today. I appreciate what a complete package it is—thank you!! I like the variety of activities and the “outside the box” nature of the activities. It’s been a pleasure working with you.
