How did lead poisoning contribute to the fall of the ancient Roman Empire? Why was crocodile dung once used to treat asthma? This curriculum series provides opportunities for middle school teachers to team-teach across disciplines. Each curriculum provides lesson plans for social studies, language arts, math, science, and health and fitness teachers. The series is currently be used throughout Washington State, New Mexico, as well as being incorporated into a national educational program funded by the National Institute of Health.
