The Science of Flight for Teachers
An aviation summer camp for teachers sponsored by Paine Field.
Earn three Seattle Pacific University Graduate Credits.
June 23-26 or Aug. 4-7, 2008
Participants will receive: Two hours of certified flight instruction in a Cessna 172 or Piper Cherokee; Rides in various aircraft types; Field trips to aviation related sites including Boeing, Airlift Northwest, the Museum of Flight and the Future of Flight Aviation Center; Career awareness discussions with visiting professionals from the aviation industry; Classroom instruction in the physical principles of flight; Experiments and demonstrations to take back to their classroom.
