Educator Open House at Center for Wooden Boats
The Center for Wooden Boats is hosting an Educator's Open House on May 31st. This free event provides teachers with a window into the Center's programs.
"We will have FREE boat rides - sailing, paddling, and even a cruise in our youth sailing boats! There will be a chance for you and your family to build your own toy boat. Our Artist-in-Residence invites you to join him in carving a traditional dugout cedar canoe. We will also feature Tug Boat Storytime on a 120 year old tugboat. Our Youth Program staff will be around to answer questions. Salish Seas Expeditions and Sound Experience will be here to answer questions about their programs too. "
